I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Dorie Greenspan a few years ago when she first launched her pop-up bake shop The Cookie Bar aka Beurre et Sel, in New York City. Being a six time James Beard award winner as well as co-author for Pierre Hermé, Daniel Boulud and Julia Child, she has had quite the culinary past! Following the great success of her award winning cookbook Around My French Table, she has just released Baking Chez Moi, which focuses on French desserts. Her stories are intriguing and her recipes are always easy to follow.
My copy just arrived in the mail (an early cadeau de Noël from a friend) and I can't wait to put on my apron and start baking!
