Choosing wedding flowers can be a daunting task. With so many varieties to choose from, the list can go on and on! One flower that I happen to love is the Ranunculus or Renoncules in French. They look beautiful in a wedding bouquet, centerpiece or even a boutonnière.
These flowers resemble "overstuffed" roses and have many layers of densely packed petals. They are a stunning solo fleur when their flowers are just starting to open and mix wonderfully well with other flowers as well. These lovely blooms are available during all seasons and can even be less expensive than roses or peonies. They come in white and cream-color during the spring, yellow-orange for the season winter through summer and pink and red ranunculus are in season all year-round.
So get inspired by the beautiful Ranunculus!
