Bonne Fête Nationale! We hope everyone will enjoy some champagne and fireworks at their local Bal de Pompiers! If you happen to be in the NYC/NJ area and not in France, there are still many ways to celebrate!
On Sunday the 12th of July, make your way to Bastille Day on 60th Street where booths from local French eateries serve up crêpes, canelés and macarons, while can-can dancers and live musical acts provide a feast for the eyes and ears. There will also be wine tastings and a raffle with prizes including trips to Paris and the Côte d’Azur!
Head over to the Bastille Day Ball on the 13th of July for their annual soirée filled with, food, fun and dancing!
Also, starting July 13th is French Restaurant Week NYC. This annual tradition features discounted prix-fix menus at participating French restaurants ranging from small brasseries to some of the city’s highest-rated restaurants!
For you Jersey folk, enjoy the evening of the 14th wandering around the Van Vleck House and Gardens in Montclair, NJ with a plate of French cuisine and a glass of red as a live band plays in the background. How festive!
