Cocktail Hour Games

Cocktail Hour Games

Jennifer Fox

Who doesn't love a good cocktail hour? Especially a cocktail hour with games! I love it when my clients opt for a fun, carefree cocktail hour reception with games. It brings out the kid in us and brings people together. Here are just a few examples of super fun, interactive cocktail hour games that will make your guests feel like a kid again!

Jenga - This is the perfect game for an intimate cocktail hour due to its size. It can be played on small cocktail tables and won't take up much room. You can stack the pieces as high as you want and personalize them by adding your calligraphed monogram, crest or wedding date!

Pétanque - This is a wildly popular outdoor French game! Each player strives to throw metal balls or "boules" as close as possible to a smaller wooden ball, named the “cochonnet”. This is the perfect cocktail hour lawn game because it's super easy and is usually played while enjoying a drink!

Bean Bag Toss - Everyone loves a good bean bag toss! It's a game that is fun for people of all ages, doesn't require any skill and can be played with a cocktail in hand. The aim of this lawn game is to toss a beanbag through a hole in the middle of a board. For added style, customize your beanbags and board with your wedding colors, invitation theme, initials or wedding date!

Foosball - Known by the French as "Baby-Foot", foosball is a table top version of soccer. The game is fast and lively, providing laughs and cheers!
